It’s been a snowy weekend here in Texas, believe it or not! It’s been in the teens here, super COLD! But I’m not complaining, I love this time of the year!
So, today I have a brush set review for you guys. I’ve raved about the set of brushes I currently own from Altair Beauty and I was ecstatic when they released a new set!

I’ve had these brushes for well over a month, I have truly tested these out, and just like the first set I tried, find that review here…I LOVE these. The kabuki brush is so soft and dense, just the perfect all around brush. I’ve tried this brush with liquid foundations, powder foundations, setting powders and even to bronze a little. I am a sponge girl, I love using a damp sponge to apply my foundation, so I prefer to use the kabuki brush for setting powder.
The blending brush has been a go-to, my everyday look consists of little to no effort, so I like to use a light matte brown shade or bronzer to throw on my lids for some definition, add some mascara and I’m good to go. This brush is perfect for that, and I can even contour my nose with this!
And the other two brushes are amazing extras…I don’t know how many spoolies I’ve gone thru.
The makeup cleaning brush is such a nifty little thing! The larger portion of it has medium sized bristles that help clean larger brushes. And there is also a small section with smaller little bristles, perfect for smaller brushes. I love how small it is, makes it great to travel with.
Overall, I think you can tell that I’m really happy with this set! I think that if you are in the market for a great flat top kabuki, then definitely look into this set. The price is just right and I even have a coupon code for my readers!
