Over my summer break I rarely wore makeup and it was so refreshing. But there were days when I wanted to look put together and still feel refreshed. In other words, I didn’t want to pile on foundation and all that jazz in the 100+ degree weather. So I found a few great alternatives and that’s what I’m going to share with you guys today.
These products are perfect for natural or “no makeup” makeup days, they are also my go-to when I have hit the snooze button one too many times and don’t have time for a full face of makeup. I’m sure you’ve all been there!
- Not only is this CC cream basically the best invention EVER, it’s also good for you! It has SPF 50, an anti-aging serum — packed with peptides, vitamins and anti-oxidants! I first tried using this with a Beauty Blender, but it gave me sheer coverage…so I used the Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush to apply it and got medium coverage. Since I’m used to wearing FULL coverage foundations, I can’t really agree with the claims that this is full coverage. However, for a CC cream…it definitely has more coverage than most. I am in the shade Light, and it seems to match me really well.
Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer
- When I first tried this concealer I wasn’t the biggest fan…but I have since changed my mind. This works so well along the CC cream, it has good enough coverage to conceal the dark circles or blemishes without looking or feeling cakey.
- I’ve talked about this product like crazy recently, it’s THAT good! Especially when I don’t want to fuss with my full brow routine (which will be up on Wednesday!) It now comes in 3 shades, I use the shade Browny Brows and the best part — it’s ONLY $2.99 and a great alternative to Benefit’s Gimme Brows! Benefit recently re-packaged their entire brow line-up and I’m not entirely sure if they re-formulated Gimme Brows…but I have tried BGB (the old packaging) and think they are pretty much the same thing.
That wraps up my round up of go-to “natural” products. I will have a “No Makeup” Makeup video up soon so you can see all of these products, along with a few of my other favorites, in action.
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you found it helpful, click here to tweet and share with your friends. Don’t forget to come back on Wednesday for my full brow routine, alone with tips and tricks on how to groom and fill in your brows. Until then, beauties!
