The official first day of Autumn is next week and I couldn’t be more excited. Fall time brings pumpkin spice everything, FOOTBALL, cozy sweaters and so many beautiful warm, bold colors. With that said, not only is it my favorite time of the year, it’s also the time of year that I like to swipe vampy lipsticks on. However, that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. So I have 10 of the best shades (in my collection) that I think anyone can wear during this time of year. Starting with everyday nudes and working our way up to some vampy shades, trust me, there’s a shade for everyone here. So let’s get started.
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Echo Park
- A warm, peachy nude that looks good on so many skin tones. Great year-round, but also perfect for ladies who tend to wear pinkier-nudes over the summer. And this lipstick formula has to be one of my ALL time favorites.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Pepper
- Still a nude, but on the rosey side. Perfect for everyday looks and formulated to keep your lips hydrated all day long.
ColourPop Lippie Stix in Lumiere
- One of my favorite dusty mauve colors! It’s in a matte finish, so it will wear for hours and it’s good change-up from a regular nude.
Wet N Wild Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in Charred Cherry
- If you are left craving some brighter summery-shades, this is a wonderful mixture of bright and dark.
- Believe it or not, I was afraid of wearing darker shades but MAC’s Captive opened a whole new world for me. A nice mid-tone berry shade that isn’t overly dark, just dark enough.
- It may look a tad bit scary, but it can definitely be worn on the sheer side. This lip product has the shine of a lip gloss but stains like a tint, so it will be on your lips for hours.
Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in Snap
- A gray-ish-mauve lip gloss, perfect for so many. It can be sheered out or built up to get color payoff, either way…it’s a beautiful, unique shade.
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in TooLips
- This deep plum brown may not be for everyone, but if you’re in the mood for a darker lipstick that is incredibly comfortable, give this a try. I find this color quite unique, it looks so different on different skin tones, but in a good way.
Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipstick in Melted Berry
- If you prefer shades with a little more red to them, Melted Berry is a beautiful deep berry shade. These liquid lipsticks have a unique applicator and stain the lips without drying them out.
Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick in Burgundy Blush
- May not be for everyone, but if you’re willing to dive in to vampy shades, this inexpensive matte lipstick is amazing! I wore this shade non-stop last season and received so many compliments every time I wore it.
