Truth be told, I rarely get to wear cute shoes. During the week I’m stuck wearing scrubs and tennis shoes. And since I’m 5’8 and my husband is 5’9 I steer clear of heels — so that pretty much leaves me one option…flats.
I’m not complaining though, I definitely prefer flats and how comfortable they can be, especially when I’m on the go and running errands. And I’m sure tons of women out there would rather reach for a pair of flats than stilettos when they are headed to the grocery store. So, today I’m sharing 20 stylish and trendy flats, for the woman on the go!
Sneaker-style flats are some of my go-to when I know that I have a long day ahead — shown above, Michael Kors Perforated Flats, J.Renee Studded Flats, Nine West Leah Pompom Flat, Soludos Lace Slip-Ons — not only are they comfortable, but they are cute and on trend. PS — Can we talk about how stinkin’ cute the pompom flats are!? I might just have to buy a pair!
I recently purchased these Gianni Bini Slip-Ons and I’m in love with them — actually, that might be an understatement…I’m OBSESSED with them. They are the perfect amount of glam and comfortable…all wrapped up in a shoe!
A style of flats that has been around for ages, are the pointed toe flats. They are some of my personal favorite — show above, Sole Society Tassel Flat, Ted Baker Pointy Toe Flat, Adrianna Papell Jeweled Mesh Flat, Marc Fisher Sunny Flat, Ivanka Trump Chic Leopard Flat.
Loafer style flats are also pretty popular and recently have been more stylish, like these Python Print Loafers and these super chic glittery Sole Society Pointy Toe Loafers!
And we also have the more classic ballet style flat, but my picks aren’t your usual flats, — shown above, Lauren Lorraine Crystal Embellished Flats, J.Renee Laser Cutout Flats, BP Scalloped Lace-Up Flat, and Neiman Marcus Bow Flat. These all have a small, unique touch.
Finally, moving on a trend that has been huge lately…lace up flats! I’m obsessed with this trend and honestly don’t want to see it go anytime soon. Shown above — Sam Edelman Brandie Lace-Up Flat, Old Navy Lace-Up Flats, BP Pointy Toe Flat, Topshop Fase Laser Flat, and Python Print Lace-Up Flats.
