About a month ago, I shared a haul of new products I had picked up from the new Spring 2017 drugstore releases. I was going to update with a video, but I had no time to get it filmed and up last week, so then I figured a Snap or IG story would work…but those are only up for 24 hours and I know some of you were interested in hearing about certain products. So here I am…with the final update!
L’Oreal Infalliable Total Cover Foundation
Honestly, I’m not impressed with this foundation. I didn’t it find it to have as much coverage as the L’Oreal Infalliable Pro Matte Foundation, and this claims to have a natural finish, which I don’t agree with — it’s definitely more on the satin/matte side. It has a nice mousse-like consistency and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, which I did like. Overall, I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it — so I don’t see myself repurchasing this.
Milani Retouch + Erase Light-lifting Concealer
I didn’t have my hopes high for this concealer — I had terrible dark circles and it’s quite difficult to find something that doesn’t crease too much. Well, this concealer actually surprised me — it has decent coverage and while it does crease, it’s not as bad as most concealers. I was quite impressed with this concealer, I think most people would really like this!
Maybelline Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit
I LOVE this kit! These shades are so smooth, blend like a dream and give just the right amount of pigmentation that you need. The highlight shade is so pretty and subtle, with a tiny hint of pink to it. My current everyday blush has been the peachy shade, it’s a perfect color for every skin tone!
Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color
I really like these colors, but unfortunately, I found these to be too drying on my lips. They were so uncomfortable that I couldn’t wear them past 2 hours…but to be fair, I already have dry lips and am very picky when it comes to matte lip products. I personally don’t see myself getting any other shades.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine
As I mentioned above, I have dry lips, so I always zone in on moisturizing lip products — but this was just okay. I definitely prefer the Lorac Alter Ego Lip Gloss over this product.
Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipsticks
There are new shades out and I picked up Brown Blush — I LOVE the color and you probably already know that I am obsessed with this formula!
So there you have it, a quick update on what I picked up last month from the drugstore! I hope you all have a great Monday. I’ll be in and out today since I have meetings most of the day, so I might be a bit absent.
