Pom poms are HUGE this season, just like they were last year, but it can be a bit intimidating to style this trend. I’ve seen some beautiful outfits and some over the top ones as well. My preference is definitely a more subtle approach.
When styling such a fun trend, I think it’s important to keep it to 2 pieces max, with actual pom poms…anything more than that might overkill. You will see in the outfits below, that the poms are all subtle but still noticeable.
Who doesn’t love a good colorful and fun outfit for summer time!? This OTS chambray dress is so simple, it can easily be dressed up or down. Finish it off with a pair of tassel earrings and beaded link bracelet and you’re set for a night out!
If you’re into a more casual look, then a simple OTS pom pom top paired with a bright pair of jeans, is probably the way to go. Add some fun earrings, (only $12!) strappy sandals and crossbody bag and you’re set. This outfit would be perfect for a date day or a shopping spree with friends!
