Hey Beauties!! I have a mini review for you today! Many have asked me what I use to apply my foundation. Depending on the foundation, I either use the Beauty Blender or a Sigma F80 brush.
Now, there are MANY knockoff Beauty Blender’s out there, you can find them at Target, Amazon, Ulta, etc. Don’t get me wrong, some of them are good, but they just don’t compare to the original.
Keep on reading to find out more about the Beauty Blender, enjoy!! 🙂

Overall | You would be amazed at how awesome this little sponge is. It’s unlike any other! It’s extremely soft and “bouncy.” The application goes on flawlessly–it does an amazing job at blending foundation in seamlessly and evenly. The pointed side is wonderful for blending in concealer and getting around the nose.
It’s recommended to wet the sponge before applying foundation with luke warm water–you will see the sponge nearly double in size–then squeeze all the water out and leave it damp, and it’s good to go. I find that it works best with thicker foundations. With super liquidy foundations, it tends to soak some of the foundation in.
Pros | Very easy to travel with, great flawless application.
Cons | The only bad thing I have to say about this applicator, is that it stains, and it stains horribly! You can wash it every single day, right after applying your makeup, every hour on the hour, and it will still look dirty.
*The one on the left is clean, but as you can see, it has stained. The right one is new and not damp.*
I can honestly say I will NEVER use a different sponge! If you are on the fence about buying this, don’t be! You will LOVE this, it’s worth every penny! I can not rave about this sponge enough.
What do you use to apply your foundation? I’d love to know! 🙂
I hope you have found this review helpful. 🙂 Until next time!
