Are you guys up for something a little different? I came across this tag while reading another beauty blog, and I thought I would participate because tags are just so fun to read! Plus, being a new blogger you might have some questions. I would love to do more tag posts in the future so please let me know if you enjoyed this down below!
1. Is your hair natural curly or straight?
It’s definitely NOT curly, but not straight either, I have a weird wave to it, so I ALWAYS have to style it.
2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
A simple one color dye job, I do myself. I went ombré a few months back, but I had that done professionally. I wouldn’t dare do that myself!
3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?
I wish I could say I style my hair differently everyday, but realistically I don’t. I go back and forth with waves and straight hair. Every now and then I wear my hair up.
4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I do my own manis—I just really enjoy that time to myself. As far as pedis, I go to a salon, it’s so relaxing.
5. How often do you change your nail polish?
I’m so OCD about my nails chipping, so I change my nail polish about 2-3 times a week!
6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just in the summer?
Mainly just the summer time.
7. How long does it take for you to put on your makeup?
I love to experiment and when I do so it takes me FOREVER! About an hour and a half. Normally, I’m not any better, about 45 minutes—I just really enjoy doing my makeup.
8. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
Normally my face, if I’m doing an eye look that has shimmer with fall out, then I’ll do my eyes first.
9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
I’m just starting my collection, I LOVE makeup, so yes, I will continue to purchase more products and collect them.
10. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Very rarely, special occasions really.
11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?
No! I like to let my face “breathe” so I don’t wear makeup everyday.
12. Do you wear makeup when your home alone, or with family?
If I’m home alone cleaning house, no I don’t wear makeup. I usually wear makeup when I have things to do or places to go.
13. Will you leave the house without makeup?
If you had asked me this a year ago, I would’ve said NO WAY! There was no way I would want people to see my freckles or my horrible-I-haven’t-slept-in-days dark under eyes circles. But I have grown to get comfortable with myself, and embrace my imperfections.

14. How many high-end products do you have?
I own a few of everything, blushes, mascaras, lippies…you name it. I love trying to new things.
15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
I decide when I’m getting dressed. If we are going somewhere special, then I decide the night before.
16. How often do you change your handbag?
How funny, I just changed bags today! I usually change out every 2 months or so.
17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?
I’m an insomniac, so it differs every night. I wish I could go to sleep at a decent hour, but I don’t. And I’m up by 6-6:30 in the morning.
18. How often or when do you workout?
About 2-3 days a week.
19. Left handed or right handed?
Right.
20. How tall are you?
5’7”
21. Do you speak any foreign language?
Yes, I’m fluent in Spanish.
22. How many pets do you have?
My husband and I have a Boxer, Muffin, she’s the best dog ever! Before getting married I owned a Bichon/Poodle mix, Sophie Lou, she’s the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She loves everyone. But my parents kept her once I married and moved out, I just couldn’t give her the attention she needed—I see her everyday and she visits me often, my mom and I joke that we “share custody.”
23. How often are you on blogger?
Everyday!
24. Do you read comments posted on blogs?
Yes I do.
25. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
I sure do, I keep a list in my phone with products to try.
26. How did you come up with your Blog name?
I wanted something simple, so I came up with Beauty With Lily…simple as that.
27. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?
I use my iPhone and I have also used my Canon SX30 IS PowerShot.
28. How often do you clean your house?
I aim for 2-3 days a week.
29. What’s your favorite color?
Purple and pink–typical girl!
30. Do you swear?
I wish I didn’t, but I do, not a lot…every now and then I do.
31. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
It’s late..so sleep! Or try to at least.
