Looking for new, affordable skincare products? You must try the St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer…it’s affordable and works so well!
Hello everyone!!
I hope you all had a great weekend, they just seem to fly by don’t they?
I wanted to do a quick post on a moisturizer I’ve been using for well over a month now. It’s not really a review, just more of a product description and a “how well I like the product” type of post.
St. Ives Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer
I purchased this moisturizer after seeing it all over Pinterest. I did some research on it, and found out Dr. Oz highly recommends this moisturizer for all of the anti-aging purposes.
Here is the product description from the St. Ives website:
This moisturizer, with collagen elastin proteins, hydrates for visibly softer, smoother skin.
Collagen is a protein, that makes up more than 80% (dry weight) of our skin. Throughout the years, as we expose ourselves to the sun and as we age, the collagen in our skin starts to diminish. Causing wrinkles and sun damage. It becomes essential to stimulate the regrowth of collagen proteins to avoid aging–and what an easier way than applying moisturizer daily. It does all the work for us, easy, simple, and inexpensive.
What I really like about the St. Ives Collagen Elastin moisturizer is that it is 100% Natural! There are absolutely no harsh chemicals–I have extremely sensitive skin, and this works great on my skin.
I have also read plenty of reviews on this product, and I have not come across one bad review at all. Everyone seems to rave about how well it works.
At less than $5 for a 10 ounce tub and found just about anywhere, I just couldn’t resist getting it. (I purchased mine at Target and I’ve also seen it at Walmart.) I have really enjoyed this product, it has a nice lightweight feel to it, and it leaves your face extra soft. I also don’t mind the scent, it smells really fresh, not a heavy perfume-y scent at all.
I will definitely continue to use this moisturizer for all of the anti-aging purposes, the sooner you start the better. I know I’m only in my early 20’s, but anything to prevent wrinkles, fine lines, etc.
The only downside to this moisturizer is that it does not contain an SPF, so incorporating one in your daily routine would be a must, to prevent sun spots, damage, etc.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!
I hope you enjoyed this quick post, and found it helpful! Until next time! 🙂
