Hello there beauties! I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing weekend.
Today, I have a review for you guys, on a face mask from The Body Shop.
I don’t have a The Body Shop store near me, so I find my goodies at Ulta or online. So when Ulta sent out a Friends and Family coupon, I took advantage; luckily that day, they also were having a sale on all The Body Products. You can see my haul of everything I picked up here back in December.
Let’s jump into the review!
The Body Shop | Tea Tree Face Mask
Price: $15 – $15.50
Size: 3.85 oz
What the company says: “This instantly cooling face mask cleanses, soothes and refreshes the skin.
Helps remove impurities
Absorbs excess oil
Soothes skin”
Application | The first few times I used this mask, I used my clean fingers to apply it, but since then I have found that using a flat foundation/concealer brush works best. The instructions say to “apply generously to face and neck with fingertips” and to “leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with clean water.” It also instructs to apply weekly for best results.
The mask is suitable for blemished skin, now, I don’t have acne prone skin nor do I have blemished skin, but I do get your occasional hormonal breakout. You’re probably asking, then why purchase this? Well, when I purchased this, I had a couple of blemishes on my chin. So I figured, it was the perfect time to try this type of mask.
Thoughts
Once I apply this, I instantly feel a coolness to my skin, it feels so refreshing, just like the claims say. It is a dark green color and very easy to apply. This mask doesn’t dry, but it doesn’t feel too wet on the skin; I can feel it tighten a bit towards the end but it doesn’t leave my face feeling dry either. It has a strong herbal scent, the tea tree oil scent is quite strong, so it may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to scents.
After I was off the mask, my skin feels very supple, soft, and so fresh. It leaves my skin matte, it does a good job at absorbing all of the excess oil.
The following morning, you will not believe how soft my skin feels…literally, like a baby’s bottom! LOL!
After using it while having the few blemishes on my chin, I noticed the redness was diminished and it helped them heal rather quickly.
Will I Repurchase?
Once I run out of this mask, I will more than likely repurchase for my occasional breakout. I definitely recommend it for those who have acne prone skin or blemished skin.
Thank you for reading, and I hope this review was helpful!
Have you tried this mask? What are your thoughts?
Until next time beauties!
