Well, another month down! I bet for you all it just flew by, but for me…it sure didn’t! As you probably already know, I participated in a No Buy Challenge with my dear friend Chelsea from Tiger Love Beauty. We even worked on a collab series all month, you can find them here.
So since I was on No Buy for the month of February, I really didn’t try a whole lot of new products. I did purchase some things right before February began…but a few were repurchases and I focused on my “forgotten” items the most. Anywho, let’s get started on what I’ve been loving this month.
February 2014 Favorites
Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer
–I’ve been using this moisturizer for well over a month now and it hasn’t broken me out. I love that it has SPF and it’s really light, perfect for day time.
The Body Shop Body Butter in Pink Grapefruit
–I recently won El’s first giveaway, over at The Beauty Isle, and this body butter was included in the prize package. I am a huge fan of body butter’s from The Body Shop, so I was very happy to have won this giveaway. The scent has a light citrusy smell to it, I keep it at my bedside.
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes
–I have been obsessed with these! I love how light they are and they give me the perfect amount of color to my cheeks. With the warmer months approaching, I can definitely see myself purchasing a couple of more colors and having these my go-to.
theBalm Sexy Mama Translucent Pressed Powder
–I’m pretty much convinced that everything theBalm makes is amazing! I LOVE everything I have tried from them, so it’s no surprise that I love this setting powder. I won’t ramble anymore, but this does a wonderful job at setting my makeup, undereye area and keeping me shine free for a good amount of time.
L’Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadow in Iced Latte
–Currently this eyeshadow has been my go-to, along with any matte brown shade, on days I want a fuss free makeup day. It has the perfect amount of sheen, so it works well for day and night time looks.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Double Ended Eye Pencil in Sabbath
–Lately I have been loving doing a winged liner with an eye pencil and smudging it out…this color is perfect for the upcoming spring time trends, it’s a navy blue. I love the entire set, but this month, Sabbath got the most love. {Also from El’s giveaway.}
Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Candy, Baby
–This smells delish! I love wearing it alone or topping off any lip color with this to give it a nice shiny finish. {This was also included in El’s giveaway.}
Pop Beauty Plum Pout Lip Gloss Peony Petal
–I just received this not long ago in my Ipsy bag, but I like it so much…I had to include it in my monthly faves. When I first got this, I took a sniff of it…like usual, I always smell lip products…and I was instantly turned off, the smell was awful! I decided to give it a try anyway…thankfully the smell does not linger!!
Model In A Bottle Setting Spray and Eyebrow Sealer
–I received a review package from Model In A Bottle several weeks ago and since then I have been loving the eyebrow sealer and setting spray, I have a full review here.
That about does it for my monthly favorites! I’m so ready for tomorrow, I can hear Sephora and Ulta calling my name! LOL!
