Hi beauties!
Can you believe that July is over! This summer is just flying on by! I have to say, I’m ready for cooler weather, although living in Texas that’s not going to happen any time soon…wishful thinking!
Let’s see what products I showed tons of love to this past month!
July 2014 Favorites
Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner
-I recently ran out of my other favorite toner from The Body Shop, I was going to repurchase it, but I can only find it at Ulta. While I was at Target, I decided to pick up this toner. I love how gentle it is on my sensitive skin and it doesn’t have a weird scent. I’ve found that some toners smell a little weird. Maybe it’s just me. So far, I’m enjoying this toner and since it’s alcohol-free, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry.
Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet+ & Urban Decay Naked Skin
-Both of these foundations are amazing on their own, but together…they are like magic! MUFE’s Mat Velvet+ is a FULL coverage foundation for oily skin, whereas Naked Skin is medium coverage, and good for just about any skin type. Mixed together, I get a beautiful semi-matte finish. My skin is pretty oily, but with this foundation cocktail, I only have to worry about blotting maybe once during the day. Love this little mixture!!
Be A Bombshell Blush in Beach Please
-Holy hot pink!! This is one bright blush!! But it’s so stunning! Definitely use a light hand when applying…it’s super pigmented. I usually use a big powder blush, or a stippling brush.
La Bella Donna Highlighting Cream Color in Moonlight
-Cream products are my favorite during the hot months, and this highlighting product is amazing! It can be used as a blush and a highlighting product, but I like it more for highlighting. I apply it with my fingers on my cheekbones, it reflects so nicely when you are out in the sun. It’s a gorgeous pink color with a golden sheen to it.
Lorac Pro 2 Palette
-I love this palette…period! I have a smokey eye look and first impressions post, that you can find here and here.
L’Oreal Extraordinaire Color Riche in Coral Encore
-This is such a pretty coral color, with some slight shimmer. These lip products are super pigmented and really moisturizing! They aren’t sticky, in the least bit, and they don’t really have a bad scent. I read and heard that these lip products had a strong perfum-y scent, and I was a bit worried to try them, because I HATE perfum-y scents. But I was shocked…when I took a whiff of it, it smelled of roses…but a very light scent!
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Protest
-UD lipsticks are some of my all time favorite…the formula is amazing, they don’t have a scent, they are so smooth, the color range is perfect…I mean, what else do you want!? They are pricey, but they are totally worth it. Protest is the newest shade in my collection…UD describes this color as a sheer-peachy, nude. I don’t think this lipstick is sheer, and it’s a bit more of a brown nude…it almost reminds me of some of the lip colors that Kylie Jenner wears…almost. I’ve been wearing this color SO much lately, it’s the perfect everyday color!

That’s it for my July favorites! I didn’t really try a whole lot of new things this month…it’s been a busy month and I have rarely worn makeup.
I do have a quick question for you guys! I’ve been thinking about doing videos to go along with my blog…maybe once a week or so. What do y’all think? Should I go for it? What types of videos would y’all like to see?
Okay, maybe that was more than one quick question, but please, leave me some feedback down below!
Thanks for reading, until next time beauties!
