Long time, no see! I have been super busy and unfortunately have neglected my blog..something I really, really hate.
So to kind of make up for my absence I have a dupe for you guys!! Who doesn’t love dupes!?
So let’s jump right in, I’ll try to make it quick!
MAC Cosmetics Creme Cup Lipstick
- $16.00
- Rich, opaque and comfortable
Maybelline Color Whisper in Lust For Blush
- $5.00 – $8.00
- Sheer, but buildable and moisturizing
I find both of these colors to be extremely similar with Lust for Blush being a tad bit more sheer than Creme Cup, but Lust for Blush is very buildable without getting sticky or uncomfortable on the lips. Creme Cup is comfortable on the lips, but it is not as moisturizing as the Color Whisper. Honestly, if you have been wanting to add Creme Cup to your collection, I say skip it and buy the Color Whisper…you save yourself a little bit of cash, especially if you use coupons, and you get the exact same color as Creme Cup, but with more moisture for your lips. Both of these lipsticks are great wearable, everyday shades and are a staple in a makeup collection. After thoroughly testing both of these lipsticks, I would have to say that Creme Cup wears longer than Lust for Blush. Not surprising, it is a very opaque shade and the formulas are a tad bit different.

I say most definitely! The only noticeable difference, Lust for Blush is more shiny.
