I’m pretty sure we have all tried at least a dozen mascaras and have only loved a couple of them. It’s hard finding a really good mascara and it doesn’t help that the beauty aisles are overflowing with so many different types. 30x the length, 300% more volume…I mean, how do they even come out with these numbers?
To help make it easier for you, I have narrowed down my top 5 mascaras. Yes, I said narrowed down. I actually love and repurchase a few mascaras, all for different reasons. But if I shared them all, it would defeat the purpose of this post. So, here are my 5 must try mascaras!
This is one of the only high-end mascara’s that I love enough to repurchase. It’s a highly talked about mascara for a reason, it’s GOOD! It lengthens, volumizes and holds a curl. The unique wand helps you get to those hard to reach lashes and also helps lift the lashes.
I’ve gone through so many tubes of this mascara, it’s AMAZING! If I had to choose one mascara to purchase for the rest of my life…it would have to be this one. This mascara has a really neat wand, it’s a 2-in-1 brush that gives you awesome length and mega volume! I have a full review here. In the review I mention that the formula is really wet, but it does dry up over a couple of days and it just magically transforms to an awesome mascara.
L’Oreal Carbon Black Telescopic
Before trying the Pacifica mascara, this would have been my first choice. It’s really good if you have full lashes and just want some extra added length. If you are looking for something to give you volume, unfortunately, this mascara doesn’t do a good job at that, but it’s a great layering mascara.
This mascara is okay for your top lashes, but I LOVE it for my lower lashes. Crazy, I know…especially because the wand is on the bigger size. But I love it because it doesn’t smudge, it doesn’t flake, no clumping, it lasts a long time and it’s really dark. Seriously, give it a try for those lower lashes!
This mascara is super inexpensive and lasts a long time. The wand on this is very skinny and rather unique…there’s actually instructions on how to use this mascara. Just like the L’Oreal mascara…this gives you more length than volume, but it does give a bit more volume than the L’Oreal mascara. If you would like to see a full review on this, click here.
Have you tried any of these mascaras? What is YOUR absolute favorite mascara?
