You guys, I’ve been blogging for the last 3 and a half years and have NEVER posted a fashion look that features me! After years of being so self-conscience about my body I finally feel comfortable enough to share an outfit post in my little corner of the internet.
I’m still worried about trolls of course — but whether or not I share myself entirely I know there will eventually be someone out there that has to be negative. And when that day comes, I hope I have enough strength to just delete the comment, forget about it and move one.
I’m sure many of you are aware of the monthly box subscription craze — I finally found a service that caters to curvy women — Dia&Co!
Dia&Co is a body-positive styling service for women who wear sizes 14 and up. You get a Dia Box with five garments hand-picked by your stylist. The $20 styling fee will be applied to any purchase you make from your Box. Keep what you love, send back the rest. Shipping both ways is always free!
I had 4 clothing pieces and an accessory in my box. Unfortunately you will only be seeing 2 of the pieces — I accidentally deleted the pictures of the other clothing items and well, you guess it — I didn’t like how they looked on me so they were returned.
Actually the entire box was returned. I really liked the fit of the jeans, but I already have a similar pair and the sweater was pricey in my opinion, $60 and it was made of very thin material. So it just wasn’t worth it to me.
I don’t know how fashion bloggers do it, to be honest. We took SO many pictures and out all of them only these few made the cut. I am still not very comfortable in front of the camera, as you can probably tell. I don’t know how often I’ll post outfit posts, but definitely let me know if it’s something you would like to see more of.
Have you tried any clothing subscription services?
