With this crazy cold front most of the US experienced this last week, I realized that many of us may have not been prepared for the cold temps that hit us. So I decided to put together a little mini winter must haves post — perhaps a little too late, but this time you can be better prepared for next winter. Or who knows, maybe you live somewhere with crazy temps, like I do — it was in the teens last week and 77 yesterday — go figure.
Winter Must Haves
I have rounded up a few items that I think are winter must haves — depending on your area, you may need heavier, or lighter pieces. But overall, I think these pieces can fit just about any winter-y climate For instance, just about anyone can rock this knit cardigan, blanket scarf, Hunter boots, and this cable knit sweater. Someone living in a more colder climate will benefit from having a peacoat, faux fur vest, a fleece vest, and a good pair of corduroy pants. Along with a pair of earmuffs (these are actually headphone earmuffs, so you can enjoy music while still keeping your ears warm) a cute pair of gloves, and perhaps even a stylish little knit headband.
