Back in the Spring, I posted a Save vs Splurge post and decided to make it a series. This time around it’s all about fall fashion — both high-end and affordable. Let’s get started!
Fall Save vs Splurge
Trench coats are a pretty trendy this time of year and in case you don’t know how to style them, you can check this post out. Anyway, I found high-end wool trench coat and fell in love with the blush color, but at $190, most people aren’t willing to pay that. So I was able to find a “dupe” that is reasonably priced at $90, and it also comes in a similar color.
Now if you’re into camo, then these cargo camo pants ($67) are for you! And in my opinion, they are a better fit than the high-end version, which will cost you $425! Seems like everywhere I turn, there are leopard shoes everywhere and I’m not mad about it. It’s the perfect fall trend. I found these expensive leopard print calf hair pumps ($795) and a much better priced alternative in these velvet pumps that are under $50 — you can’t beat that!
For my bag lovers out there, especially for my money-saving gals, the budget friendly version of the Chloe Faye bag is so similar to it and only $85!! Continuing on with the leopard print love, this leopard print sweater from Veronica Beard will run you $395! Whereas the cheaper alternative will be right under $60! And if you’re a fan of chunky scarves but don’t want to spend over $1000 for this Saint Laurent fringe scarf, then this $35 scarf from Treasure & Bond will work just as well.
