Hi friends! I hope you’ve all had a good week, TGIF! It’s been a long and busy week for me. I’ve been busy with blog work and selling houses…and people say the Winter time is not a good time to buy a house. Pffft! Anyway, I hope you enjoy today’s post — next week I’ll be back with a Valentine’s gift guide and a couple of other fun posts!
Best Revlon Makeup
Walking into the makeup section of any drugstore can be a little overwhelming….amiright?! There are SO many products, tons of brands and new release shelves. Where does one begin? In case you wanted to narrow some of the best products by brand, I’ve got you covered! You can find the best of Maybelline products here, the best of L’Oreal products here, and now I’m bringing you the best Revlon makeup products.
Face
I’ll be honest, when it comes to Revlon, there aren’t many products that stick out but their ColorStay Foundation for oily/combo skin is AMAZING for super oily skin. I can’t speak much for their normal/dry formula, but if it’s anything like the oily/combo version, I’m sure it’s good. For powder, their ColorStay Pressed Powder is a good choice. It’s not heavy and it doesn’t provide too much coverage, but it’s great to control any shininess. Lastly, if you’re looking for a cheek color, their Powder Blushes are some to consider — I do wish they had more color choices though.
Eyes
I haven’t tried any eyeshadows from Revlon that have blown me away, but their PhotoReady Eye Art duo’s are awesome! Just make sure you use a good primer underneath. For eyeliner, I’d go for their ColorStay Eyeliner Pencil, it’s pigmented and long-lasting. I’m also not a fan of any of their mascaras, but I’m also very picky…
Lips
As you can see, I have a few choices when it comes to lip products. Their ColorBurst Balm line is an oldie but a goodie — if you’re looking for something that gives you some moisture, good color payoff and wears off like a stain, then you must try the Balm Stains — the color Honey is a MUST! If you want something matte, the ColorBurst Matte Balm is a great choice, they aren’t drying. If you want a good o’l gloss, the Super Lustrous Lip Glosses are nice and not sticky. If you want to try something fun and metallic, definitely give the Ultra HD Matte Metallic Lip Color a try. I’m not a huge fan of metallic lip colors, but these aren’t chunky or gritty.

There you have it! My favorite picks from Revlon. Not too many products to choose from, but what did make this list is really good. If you only try one product I mentioned, I highly recommend picking up the Revlon Balm Stain in Honey…perfect everyday color.
