5 Concealer Tips and Tricks
Did you know there are several ways you can use concealer? I’ll be sharing 5 concealer tips and tricks you can start using now, to get the most out of your favorite makeup.
Use Color Correctors // If you haven’t heard of correctors, I have an entire post about them here. Essentially it’s a cream product that will neutralize your skin. For instance, your dark circles…for that, you’ll need a peachy colored corrector. Adding this first, eliminates the need for a ton of concealer. Avoiding a cake-y look. I’ll link some of my favorite correctors below.
Use A Lighter Shade For // A lighter shade of concealers works best underneath your eyes. This will give you a brighter, more awake look. Remember that if you get a shade lighter, so still grab a color with the same undertone as your skin.
Use The Same Shade For // The same shade as your skin, is best for blemishes. If you are concealing a blemish, stick with something the same color as your foundation. It hides it better.
Apply In An Upside Down Triangle // Applying concealer in your undereye area in an upside down triangle. This will not only give you more coverage, it will also brighten up your under eye area and create a more natural concealed look.
Use Concealer To Fix Imperfections // Concealer can be used to fix a winged liner, smudged lipstick, eyebrows…anything!
